About me
I’m a designer, artist & creative technologist making work inspired by nature and powered by technology.
I’m a Boston-based designer, artist & creative technologist building research-based, interactive experiences inspired by science, philosophy, and the mechanisms of the natural world. Through spatial sensing technologies and digital media, I explore space, time, illusion, and perception.
In my design work, I love building interfaces and interaction concepts for emerging technologies, paradigms, and the evolution of human-computer interaction.
I also write about technology and our relationship to it. My research investigates the convergence of digital and physical spaces, the future of human-computer interaction, and spatial computing interfaces. I hold a combination BFA in Art & Technology Studies, Visual Communication, and Film, Video, New Media, & Animation from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
I’m Director of Design & Technology at 🌈 BLKHAPPY and developing a design studio called ⚫ OBXURA and an experimental art + technology research lab called 🌬️ Spirus.
