About
LUX IN HORTO is a 20-year satellite time lapse of the construction of Chicago's Millennium Park. Video-projected onto a rocky wall in Lurie Garden, the time lapse becomes a miniature topographic model with dimension and form.
As time collapses and the years melt together, we see how industrial presence and interference has transformed this land.

Light in the Garden.
Inspired by Chicago's motto, Urbs in Horto, or City in the Garden, the Public Light and Space program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago collaborated with the Lurie Garden to create a free night of public light projections in the spirit of Lux in Horto — Light in the Garden.
High-fidelity previsualization.
I used photogrammetry and photorealistic renders to previsualize and test versions and specifics of the installation to get the look and feel I was after — without having to be on location.
