About
IHCS (Integrated Home Control Surface) is a prototype multi-function integrated touch interface for unifying and controlling IoT devices.
Fabric multi-touch surface with haptics & LED display.
This device is intended to be integrated into the infrastructure of the home — built into walls, furniture, and other surfaces.
IHCS unifies all of the devices and systems that operate in our homes.
Components
3D Printed Chassis
Modeled in Fusion360, printed with eSUN PLA Pro Filament on an Ultimaker S5.
USB Power Supply
Simple 5v micro-USB power supply powers the microcontroller and custom circuit.
Microcontroller
Arduino-compatible NodeMCU microcontroller. Integrated WiFi ESP8266 for IoT.
